Revolution in learning

This paragraph is in response to Ken Robinson's speech on Education. click here for the speech.

There can be no doubt about the fact that we must change ourselves according to the needs of the contemporary times and and the most alarming situation where a change is imminent is Education. Ken's main emphasis lies in the revolution and not just improving on the existing system of education- which he calls a REVOLUTION. I agree with his ideas of a new start. Education should help us achieve what we want from life and not run after what everyone wants. Our system of education should be need based rather than on the trends of the world. The   purpose of education is served best when we help people understand what they want to learn. if they learn and study according to their area of interest, they will always work better and will be satisfied in doing what they do.
